I am just about to purchase a wormery which in case you don’t know are for composting household and vegetable waste via a large number of worms. I’ve heard that it can be difficult to get the balance right to start with of waste, food, worms etc and that the worms tend to want to escape uintil they are settled. However, once set up the worms can consume vast amounts of waste.
